MANDARIN ORIENTAL, TOKYOMANDARIN ORIENTAL, TOKYO

The Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo, attained the world’s first designation as a six-star hotel, towering over the Nihombashi district, the historical home of commerce in Japan. The Ginza shopping district is also close by. Guests arriving here are ushered through a private entrance and whisked directly to the 38th floor Sky Lobby to be greeted with breathtaking views. One of the most sophisticated spas in the city is located on the 37th floor. Of the hotel’s 14 meeting rooms, the Grand Ballroom is the largest and most imposing, with a capacity of 500. The conference floor is linked to the adjacent historical site of the Mitsui Main Building, which houses four conference suites and a number of smaller rooms.
